Peaceful Thoughts and a Happy Heart

It was a different dance recital, but from Marge Enriquez, always expect something out of the ordinary.
It was poetry in motion, her fluid body movements matched the wisdom that only a peaceful soul could utter.

Being a Brahma Kumaris follower, her dance sequences corresponded to the quotations of BK founder Dadi Janki.
My favorite piece was when she was taken to the heavens, freedom at last from all worldly attachments.

""The things of the outside should not affect me. When I am very clean and peaceful inside and my thoughts are elevated whatever else should happen, happens. If my heart is happy, my mind will be cool. If I have to live in this body, this is how I need to do it. I should free myself from anger because others around me feel pain or sorrow because of my actions."

These are the words of wisdom from Dadi Janki, touted as the World's Most Stable Mind. Dadi Janki is the head of the Brahma Kumaris, an NGO affiliated with the United Nations. More than 30 years ago she
undertook a brain wave test in America. The findings showed that her waves were on delta state, the equivalent to deep sleep, even while performing her activities. She attributes this stability of mind to
meditation. Her lectures have inspired this multi-media show "Healed Heart." directed by Bart Guingona and choreographed by Douglas Nierras and lighting by Jay Aranda. In the background is Impy Pilapil's
"Bloom" sculpture. The videos and music were done by the graduates of the College of Saint Benilde School of Design and Arts.

Up, up and away! Good bye world!
